Quick answers

Is Fall for Greenville free to get into?
Yes. Fall for Greenville runs October 9 to 11 on Main Street in downtown Greenville, admission is free, and VisitGreenvilleSC's page for the festival says it has gone ticketless, with vendors taking credit, debit, tap to pay or a festival cash card. You walk in and pay for what you eat. Local restaurants set up booths the length of the street and the stages run all weekend.
Where do you park for Fall for Greenville?
The better answer is not downtown at all. Main Street closes for the festival, the city garages nearest it fill early, and Fall for Greenville publishes a road closure list and a printable map on fallforgreenville.net that is worth reading before leaving the house. Parking well out and walking in works, and so does riding in on the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail, which passes through downtown Greenville along the Reedy River.
What is euphoria in Greenville?
euphoria is a food, wine and music festival held September 17 to 20 at venues around Greenville, Travelers Rest and Easley, per VisitGreenvilleSC's signature event listing. There is no gate you walk through. Every dinner, tasting and seminar is ticketed on its own, and the prices sit on euphoria's own site and vary a great deal from one event to the next, so pick two or three in advance.
Is there a farmers market in downtown Greenville on Saturday mornings?
The TD Saturday Market is on Main Street at McBee Avenue, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture lists its season as May through October. It is over by lunch, which makes it the easiest way to get a feel for downtown Greenville without committing a whole day to a festival.
What is on in Travelers Rest this fall?
The Travelers Rest Farmers Market closes its Saturday season at Trailblazer Park, 235 Trailblazer Drive, on September 19 with a Season Finale and Apple Fest, then moves to Thursday evenings. The Harvest Market runs 5:30 to 8 at the same park on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. The city calendar at travelersrestsc.com lists a Pickin in the Park concert on September 12 and a Charters of Freedom dedication on September 17.
What is there to do around Greenville in the fall if you do not like crowds?
Skip the festivals. The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is free and open every day, and on a weekday morning it is quiet in a way it never is on a festival Saturday. Falls Park is free. The Saturday markets are done by noon and never feel like a crowd. For Fall for Greenville itself, Friday evening is a calmer visit than Saturday afternoon.

Four things around Greenville and Travelers Rest are worth rearranging a weekend for between now and the end of October. euphoria runs September 17 to 20. The TD Saturday Market is on Main Street every Saturday morning until its season closes at the end of October. Fall for Greenville takes over Main Street October 9 to 11. The Travelers Rest Harvest Market runs Thursday evenings through October at Trailblazer Park. Every one of those dates comes off the event's own page, and the rest of this is which ones we would actually go to.

What is on around Greenville this fall?

euphoria is a food, wine and music festival held September 17 to 20 at venues around Greenville, Travelers Rest and Easley, according to VisitGreenvilleSC's signature event listing. There is no gate you walk through. Every dinner, tasting and seminar inside the festival is ticketed on its own, so you pick two or three in advance or you end up going to none of it. Ticket prices sit on euphoria's own site and they vary a great deal from one event to the next.

Fall for Greenville runs October 9 to 11 on Main Street in downtown Greenville, and it works the other way. Admission is free, and VisitGreenvilleSC's page for the festival says it has gone ticketless, with vendors taking credit, debit, tap to pay or a festival cash card. You walk in and pay for what you eat. Local restaurants set up booths the length of the street and the stages run all weekend.

The City of Greenville also puts on Moonlight Movies in Falls Park on Thursday evenings in the fall, and it is free. We are not printing dates for it in this post because we could not read the current schedule off the city's own page, and that page, at greenvillesc.gov, is where the live list lives. Check it the week you want to go.

Where do you park for Fall for Greenville?

Fall for Greenville costs nothing to attend, and parking in downtown Greenville is genuinely bad. Main Street closes, the city garages nearest the festival fill early, and the hour you spend circling for a spot is the hour you were going to spend eating. Fall for Greenville publishes a road closure list and a printable map on fallforgreenville.net. Reading it before you leave the house is most of the skill.

What works better is not parking downtown at all. Park well out and walk in, or ride in on the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail, which Greenville County Parks, Recreation and Tourism describes as a 32 mile and growing system running from the Blue Ridge Escarpment through Fountain Inn, Greenville and Travelers Rest. The trail passes through downtown Greenville along the Reedy River, so a bike puts you a short walk from the middle of the festival without touching a garage. On an October Saturday that ride is the better version of the day anyway.

Is there a farmers market in downtown Greenville on Saturday mornings?

The TD Saturday Market runs on Main Street at McBee Avenue in downtown Greenville, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture lists its season as May through October. That leaves a handful of Saturdays this year. It is the easiest way to get a feel for downtown Greenville without committing to a festival, and it is over by lunch.

The Travelers Rest Farmers Market publishes its own 2026 schedule. Its Saturday season at Trailblazer Park, 235 Trailblazer Drive, closes on September 19 with a Season Finale and Apple Fest. After that the market moves to Thursday evenings. The Harvest Market runs 5:30 to 8 at the same park on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and the last one adds a kids' costume parade and trick or treating at the vendor tables.

What is on in Travelers Rest this fall?

Travelers Rest runs things the Greenville calendars do not always pick up. The city's calendar at travelersrestsc.com lists a Pickin in the Park concert at Trailblazer Park on September 12 and a Charters of Freedom dedication on Main Street on September 17. euphoria also places some of its events up there, per the VisitGreenvilleSC listing, which is worth knowing if you would rather not drive downtown for a dinner.

The town is small enough that its calendar is short and readable. That is the opposite of Greenville's problem, where the calendar is long enough that most people never get past the first screen.

What is there to do around Greenville in the fall if you do not like crowds?

Skip the Greenville festivals and go outside instead. October in the Upstate is the best month for it, and none of the good parts require a wristband. The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is free and open every day, and on a weekday morning it is quiet in a way it never is on a festival Saturday. Falls Park is free. The Saturday markets are done by noon and never feel like a crowd.

The honest read on the big weekends: Fall for Greenville pulls a very large number of people into a few blocks over three days, and if noise and lines are the part of events you dislike, going Friday evening instead of Saturday afternoon changes the day more than any parking strategy will. If that still does not sound good, go to the market instead and let the street have its weekend. It will be there again next October.
